Americans are set to spend $20 billion (yes, BILLION) for Valentine’s Day. To put it in perspective, that’s more than 80+ countries’ total annual gross domestic product! Man, we do a lot for love.
Of course, we’ll all contribute to that sizable sum. You’ll buy flowers for your significant other—or potential significant other—and they’ll buy chocolates for you. You’ll send a card to your mom or someone else you know. You’ll buy a little too much candy for home, and then you’ll buy some more for the office. You might even purchase an irresistible stuffed animal for your child or niece or nephew. Then you’ll go to dinner with…
Ok ok, you get the point.
However, Valentine’s Day is about more than dollars and gifts (OK, it’s probably still a lot about dollars to us number pros). It’s about relationships—loving and meaningful relationships with the people closest to us.
What about in the workplace? Do you have any professional relationships that you can’t live without? You must have some employees or a consultant or a vendor that often make your day. Not in the red roses and chocolate boxes sort of way, but in the cost savings and customer service sort of way.
Whether you do or do not currently have those types of workplace relationships, we’d love to be one. That’s why we took a moment to express why a professional relationship with us would brighten your days. Think of the remainder of this post as our dating profile:
We’re the type of business partner you’d bring home to your boss.
Being the long-time, respected leader in finance and accounting staffing, we know what it takes to deliver top-notch professionals that fit your company’s goals and culture. We understand that staffing is more than filling an open position with a qualified candidate; it’s about striking the dynamic balance between your business needs and job candidates’ career needs. Bosses tend to like that!
We’re devoted to long-term business relationships.
We have countless business partnerships over a decade old. Adapting to our clients’ needs and external market changes so that we can provide the highest level of staffing is second nature to us. And if we experience any bumps in the road, we never look the other way; we work diligently to smooth them out and ensure a mutually beneficial relationship persists.
We come from a great family.
We’re part of the Adecco Group, the world’s largest HR solutions provider. So when you have a relationship with us, you get an immense pool of resources—from our staffing professionals to our talent pool to our HR expertise. And at the same time, you get the personal service typically associated with smaller companies. It’s a problem solving, cost savings win-win for your business.
So, in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, let’s get together and discuss why our companies should work together. No, it doesn’t have to be over dinner and a movie. A call, email or meeting will work just fine.
